Nordskog Performance Electronic Gauges are sophisticated instruments that are highly susceptible to electronic interference. If you are experiencing problems with your instrument, please check the following before contacting us:

• Insure that all grounds are made to the engine block. (Chassis or firewall grounds are inadequate.)
• Isolate all grounds from other electronics whenever possible.
• Route all sensing wires as far away from plug wires and noise generating wires as possible.
• Use suppression type plug wires whenever possible.
• Use twisted shield cable (available from Nordskog) for sensing wires whenever possible.
• Our instruments are not guaranteed to function correctly with magnetos and high energy aftermarket ignition systems (MSD 7 or above) because of the enormous amount of interference they can produce.
• Refrain from using Teflon tape or any other type of sealer on sending unit threads.
